of Wyoming, OH Our group started meeting about 25 years ago. It grew from an adult ed class at the Wyoming Presbyterian Church. We have had up to seven members but six at present. Ages are 84 down to 73. We have tried to focus on subjects, truth, beauty etc. but always turn to politics (most of us are liberal or independent). We meet monthly. We have a WWII vet a retired physician, German professor, several businessmen. Our meeting place is at members homes Best books read in past months are also reviewed.
The City of Wyoming's nationally recognized Village Historic District is an asset to the community because of the variety and number of historic homes located within it. The Village Historic District consists of over 300 homes. A stroll through this area of the City will provide you with a glimpse of Victorian styles such as Italianate, Eastlake, Queen Anne, Vernacular, and Shingle, as well as, Twentieth Century styles such as American Four Square, Colonial Revival, Bungaloid, and Tudor Revival style architecture. If you would like to contact our group e-mail Bartley for more information.
