of Wayne, NJ The Packanack Lake Romeo's men's group started meeting at Miranda's Cafe on Route 23 in Wayne, New Jersey in 1996. Our group started with 5 members meeting at 7am for breakfast, and over the years has grown to 17 members. We recently added a Wednesday 7:30am meeting for those who can attend. Five of our group have passed away over the years so now we are a strong dozen! Below is a picture of our group in front of Miranda's on a recent Saturday morning. Our breakfast discussion that lasts about 2 hours covers topics of politics, ailments, sports, corruption, local ordnances, taxes and any other items of interest. We have planned many trips and events to be enjoyed by our wives and us. To name a few, we have gone to Las Vegas, Fenwick Island, Atlantic City, Monmouth Race Track, and Lancaster, PA. Our annual Christmas Party with our wives has been held at Portobello's in Oakland, NJ. We range in age from sixties through eighties, and we are all funny! Our favorite restaurants are Miranda's on Route 23 N in Wayne, NJ. Portobello's on Rt 202 S in Oakland, NJ. We are organizing a poker night to start in October.
