Our group meets first Tuesday of every month, 8 AM, at Jimmy the Greek Restaurant on Garrisonville Road. We have 20-25 attendees. We were established in 1996. Our group has flourished over the years precisely because we have no rules, memberships, dues or anything else but a nice unstructured breakfast with whoever happens to be sitting with us. Our one bow to convention is, in the interest of reminding us of our forgetfulness at times, three of us have the duty of calling the rest the day before to refresh their memory. We tried to make our site useful to others in the community as a ‘Go To’ site to help find information more easily. It is of course tailored to our area but any club could easily duplicate it by using local links.

We are planning to expand later to list commercial services as an aid to local citizens since we do not have a Chamber of Commerce. Something like this ‘Business Guide.’ http://www.highlandcounty.org/directory.htm As grandpas we still can be useful.
