The R.O.M.E.O Club of Heritage Pines, located in Hudson, Florida, was started in 2005 with 5 residents of Heritage Pines. As of September 2009, our membership now numbers 61. We are an active club, holding a monthly breakfast business meeting at a local restaurant on the last Friday of each month and a social luncheon meeting on the second Friday of each month. In addition, we hold numerous functions such as an annual dinner-dance and family picnic. We are active in charity work through our functions. Our motto is, "Family, Friends, Fun, Food", our logo is a black baseball cap with "R.O.M.E.O." stitched in red letters across the front. The attendance here represents only about one third of our total membership. A lot of our members are "snow birds" who haven't returned from the colder climates yet.
